JRF launches nationwide First Aid initiative
The Jason Roberts Foundation and Wallace Cameron have teamed up to promote the launch of their nationwide First Aid training campaign. This is aimed to bring awareness and show the importance of first aid training for all.
After a recent accident involving Jason Roberts’ young son, the premiership footballer realised he didn’t know what to do and panicked. He has turned to The Wallace Cameron Group, one of the largest First Aid providers in the UK to have him and his family members trained
“I am pleased to announce the launch of our First Aid Initiative with Wallace Cameron which will be rolled out across the UK. Some of my fellow professionals are supporting this campaign as we all understand the importance of knowing what to do in an emergency. From my personal experience I know that first aid training is vital.”revealed Jason. The initiative has had an overwhelming response so far.
Together the Jason Roberts Foundation and Wallace Cameron will be supporting a community awareness campaign to help educate and provide sessions for every individual who attends. Otis Roberts, CEO of the Foundation said, “We intend to reach the people who may not normally have access to or be able to afford to take part in this important training. We have also had a great response from local schools, and plan a nationwide scheme in schools.”
Pam Parker from the Wallace Cameron Group said,“I was delighted to be asked to help this campaign after gaining our Royal Warrants for first aid training last year. I felt this was a way of putting back into the community that will help everyone.”
The Foundation is opening a training centre in Uxbridge in May from which fund raising educational programmes and events will be organised and delivered. As one of these initiatives, Wallace Cameron will be holding a number of First Aid training courses there.
