Danielle & friends complete Windsor Half Marathon
Danielle Moore and her friends, AsaThoren and Laura Gaskill completed their first half-marathon in Windsor, donating funds raised to the Jason Roberts Foundation.
After the Marathon Danielle said; “Well we all did it!! The weather was lovely, there were more than 6000 runners there; lots of different charities were represented. It was a great spirit, everyone encouraging each other particularly when the going got tough (about 9 miles in my case). Our times were respectable for first timers; Asa did it in 2.24, I did it in 2.46 and Laura did it in 2.56. But more important, we did it!”
The Windsor Half Marathon has been running since 2000 and over the years has raised over £340,000 for charity, with the proceeds from this year’s race going to CRASH – the building industry charity for the homeless, and the Prince Philip Trust. Jason and everyone at the Foundation send their congratulations and thanks to Danielle, Asa and Laura for raising this great sum of money.
