The Jason Roberts Foundation continues to support youth Talent ID winners
The CEO of the Jason Roberts Foundation presented training kits to Mario Ganness, Shamari Mark and Shondy Gaskin theyouth winners of the Jason Roberts Foundation talent ID Programme 2011. The talented Grenadian boys received their kitslast Saturday at the Body and SoulGym in Morne Rouge, St George’s. The three youngsters were identified from 100’s of hopeful young footballers who participated in the JRF Talent ID programme inJune.They were presented with Jason Roberts Foundation branded training kit and football boots and also received advice from fitness and nutrition expert Vonne Francis the I. F. B. B. Pro Grenadian body building champion from the Body & Soul Gym.
The partnership between the Gym and the Foundation aims to promote good nutrition and healthy lifestyles to the youths of Grenada. Otis said “We’re delighted about the prospect of expanding the Talent ID and Youth Cultural Exchange Programme and providing opportunities to more young footballers. The launch of the programme this summer proved to be a great success but we don’t want it to end with only three boys having the opportunity to be part of the Academy and to visit the UK – we hope to continue this exciting programme every year.” The parents of the boys also expressed their gratitude towards the foundation for providing a holistic developmentopportunity to their sons, and vow to continue supporting them as the boys prepare for an exciting excursion in 2012.
