London Youth Premier League

The league aims to bridge the gap between grassroots football and professional academy football to create a holistic approach to youth and player development.

The league will provide young people with opportunities to:

– participate in competitive football,
– learn about the pathways directly and indirectly attached to the beautiful game,
– receive mentoring,
– volunteer
– gain qualifications and employment within the industry through the Aim Higher Conferences.

The Aim Higher Conference is the personal, social and education unit of this innovative project showcasing the opportunities available to young people in and around sport. Guidance is provided on how they can use sport to create a better future.

In 2016 the Conference in October was hosted at Wembley Stadium as part of a new partnership between the Foundation’s League and UCFB. One of the direct results of this partnership is that UCFB students will have the opportunity to gain placements across many of the Jason Roberts Foundation’s programmes.
